The SHSU Small Business Development Center and the Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce are excited to provide March's Lunch & Learn Series-Transforming Your Vision! Join us at the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce to learn from Meredith Jurica, Founder and CEO of Makeup Junkie Bags.

In this session you will learn how Meredith Jurica created a product that hit $1 million in sales within the first year of business. Meredith will provide insights that enabled her to build an irresistible brand that customers know and love.

Meredith’s business began with her own desire for a bag that housed large modern day cosmetics. She began designing makeup bags at her kitchen table and soon after, several people began requesting bags. Meredith began promoting her designs on social media and Makeup Junkie Bags grew rapidly. Meredith owns a debt-free company, employs more than 100 local area residents, is in over 5,000 stores and continues to grow everyday. In 2019, she appeared on Shark Tank, which then caused Makeup Junkie Bags to explode in popularity.
