The Sam Houston State University Small Business Development Center (SHSU SBDC) is a member of the University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network that serves 32 counties in Southeast Texas.  We are a non-profit organization designed to advise small business owners through individual consultations and training seminars.  What can our SHSU SBDC do for you?

The SHSU SBDC provides personalized assistance in various aspects of business management and operations. Our consultants will work with you to develop business plans and evaluate financing alternatives. We will address specific concerns of your business, as well as any marketing needs or custom training for your business.

Our staff subscribes to the highest standards of professional conduct. All information regarding your business remains confidential, and only the staff working with you will have knowledge of your firm's operations. All of our business consulting services are FREE.

We invite you to visit our office in Huntsville, Texas at 2424 Sam Houston Avenue or call us at (936) 294-3737 to arrange for a meeting at one of our satellite offices for a free and confidential consultation. Free parking is available in a large lot adjacent to the SHSU SBDC office.  We are handicapped accessible.
